Have been wanting to try Red Cow for ages. Arrived at the end of a late lunch and the server was good, but the food timeliness was a bit slow given the limited diners. Burger selection was good with lots of varieties for toppings and great buns. (The bun is a critical component and these did not fail.) Burger was solid and very good but not the overall best in the burger wars. (Kiddos and I go places where they rank burgers and chicken). Chicken tenders were huge, crisp, tasty, and very good. Like the burger, chicken got a 7 to 8. Truly solid, big serving, but for us, not worth the drive. (We live in what seems to be the chicken capital of Minnesota in Apple Valley.) We also had the peanut shrimp bowl. Again, solidly good but not spectacular. Glad we finally got to try Red Cow. Would have been fun to have had more than three of us to try more!

I recently checked out Red Cow on Selby in Saint Paul, and this place was a vibe! I never knew it had two floors, so it was pretty nice to dine on the second floor for my date--it was a bit quieter up there. I started off with the ahi crisps, which were sooooooo good! I was tempted to order a second round, but I realized I had to save space for the burger. I don't recall the exact burger I had, but I remember the bacon on it was delicious! This location was great overall. Service was good and our waiter had great recommendations. Parking can be challenging sometimes since it's street parking, but I'd definitely go back!

It's like a sports bar feel on the main level with additional seating upstairs. Burgers are fantastic, very juicy, one of the best that I've had I think - and I've had my share of yummy burgers. . Service was kind of slow - not sure if it's a result being upstairs, but we also had a ton of orders as well with our larger group. I think it's generally kid friendly on the upper level - they do have some high chairs etc available. They kept the kids busy with some crayons for drawing.

This place is so fun and awesome. The food was so good we had to go back for round 2, and it was just as great as the first time. Chicken club wrap was so good, and their chips and dip we have been eating for days, I wish I could buy the dip by the gallon. Heather the GM is so kind and funny and amazing at her job. Drew the other manager was so cool too, just great people here and great food. Can't wait to come back to St Paul just to eat at Red Cow!

It was an excellent day to take lunch in the outdoor patio. I selected the Double Barrel smash burger and chicken rice soup. I enjoyed the burger and usually don't call out the burger bun. It was light and complemented the burger so well. The chicken rice soup, which is a staple at many Minnesota restaurants was spot on. Service was fantastic.

Amazing food! Red Cow has been one of my favorites for awhile now. The ambiance feel nice, and the service never keeps you waiting. Even if the place is packed, it is always worth waiting! I got the crispy shrimp, and if you can handle some heat, you have to try! They are my favorite item on the menu, hands down! I got an old fashioned that tasted pretty good. For my entree I got the patty melt with sweet potato fries, and I have to say it was absolutely delicious! The patty melt was so savory with tons of flavor, and the sweet potato fries were nice and crunchy. If you haven't been to Red Cow, you are 100% missing out!

Came here on a snowy weekend day and there was enough space for a large group. We were seated upstairs and had plenty of space to eat and move around. The service was still good even though we were upstairs. We were waiting for more people to join the meal and while waiting the waiter came to check on us, without rushing our order either. For dinner we ordered the Ultimate and the Double Barrel burgers. Both of these burgers were fantastic, juicy and perfectly cooked and great seasoning. We also got Wisconsin Cheese curds and Elote Shishito Peppers. Both were great as well. The cheese curds were well fried and the batter on it was not overwhelming. The shishito peppers had a lot of flavor and were good with the elote seasoning to it. It added a great compliment to it. Never would have thought to combine the elote flavors with shishito peppers. Overall a good experience. They do have a an added surcharge for all checks, a 4.9% Mandate Compliance Surcharge. This was the only restaurant in the area that we experienced that had this.

As a gluten free gal, I had a bit of a hard time finding clear options here. However, the poke bowl was lovely and customizable. The hummus appetizer with veggies was also yummy! They just opened but they had plenty of well trained staff. There were over 20 people waiting for a table around 6PM! I know this is a popular spot and the shops around were super cute! We'd visit again!
